Pricing & Payments

How our pricing works

The prices on the website include British Value Added Taxes (VAT).

oldtownhaus accept many payment methods, these are clearly advertised on the site once you enter the payment process.

Payment will be debited and cleared from your account upon dispatch of your order by oldtownhaus. You confirm that the debit/credit card being used is yours or that you have been specifically authorised by the owner of the credit/debit card to use it.

All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer.

If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to oldtownhaus, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

We take reasonable steps to make sure our site is secure, all transactions on this site are processed by Shopify, a secure online payment gateway that encrypts your details in a secure host environment.

Prices for products are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect contracts, which have come into force.

Import Tax

If you are an international customer (outside the UK) you will be responsible for import duty and Tax costs.

You will be invoiced directly by an import broker appointed by you. We recommend that you contact your local customs authority to determine a landed cost price prior to purchase completion.

Exchange Rates

If you are a customer whose Credit/Debit card is non-denominated in sterling, the final price will be calculated in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your card issuer processes the transaction.
